Epiblepharon Entropion Pannus
Sometimes stuff goes sideways altogether.
This 21yo F has count fingers vision.
She has uncorrected epiblepharon that has become so severe that it has created an entropion that has caused inferior corneal pannus.
Add to that chronic rubbing and she has keratoconus.
Naturally, with poor vision and uncomfortable vision, she sits at home, does little work, and eats…weight has ballooned to 160kg.
I consider correcting such patients an emergency…..correct their vision and you give them a life.
