Conjunctival viral polyp

This 13 year old presented with an atypical lesion growing in the bulbar conjunctiva. It had viral features, and has become more inflamed following treatment with interferon.

I suspect this to be a viral polyp. Differential diagnoses include conjunctival nevus.

She will continue on topical treatment for 6 months, and hopefully it will resolve.
