Inflammatory Pseudopterygium

I have been treating this man for 20 years. He suffers Wegeners granulomatosis, and this is the appearance of the inflammatory pseudopterygium.

Note the white lipid at the head…that is corneal lipid crystals.

This lesion has not progressed for 20 years.

I have told him that under no circumstances is he to have “pterygium” surgery.

His vision is excellent, 6l7.5 corrected.
